Unveiling The Scandalous Hannah Elias
Episode 261 begins with a prominent citizen of New York City being gunned down on the street in a case of mistaken identity. This story has a strong racial element to it. Whenever possible, I have tempered the rough language that was common in the day, except in direct quotes or when it is relevant to the narrative. In those cases, I read it as published.
Culled from the historic pages of the New York World and other newspapers of the era.
