It's just Cate and Matt this go around to discuss the GenCon Live show of Critical Role! There's goofs, there's goats, there's g'dwarves. M9 are in a new town where they break some rules, make a hammer, then meet one of the Smeltborn who give them a list of what they'll need to repair the sword.
Jess and Dusty have a nice fireside chat about Dairon finding M9 in comfort while she is busy spying, how Luke gets all the cool stuff while Nott contemplates her eventual goals to return to her family, and how fun a teleportation gone wrong could have been for M9.
Ben, Dustin and Matt discuss a lot of newly uncovered lore, decisions on what to tell and keep from the Bright Queen, and chat about the fun to be had at TravelerCon. We meet a Scourger that knows Bren, and talk about the implications for Caleb later on. Lastly we argue about why Nott might have reasons to leave.
Join this week's hosts, Cate, Matt, and a back from vacation Ben, as they sift through the wreckage of episode 69 (nice) of Critical Role. It's Ashley's last episode before she's stolen by the TV network so we're doing a deep dive into lore! The Crawling King, The Angel of Irons, who are the Dark Abandoned Childen, why did we name this episode that??
Herk, Cate, and Dustin discuss the varying ways to successfully cross a river of whispering flesh. They touch on how such a simple dungeon mechanic can be so terrifying as the party delves further into a tomb of an evil undying being.
Dusty, Jess, and Cate lead this week's discussion on spoopy rooms full of mysterious spiders, shocking traps, and zombie chests full of random loot drops. Can you actually take a long rest in a demonic temple and what will the Orphan Makers' biggest hit be?
Herk, Jess, and Dustin discuss M9's encounter with rocky ground as well as Nott's drinking and its future effects on the party. They also explore the slimy nature of Fjord, his interest in a friendlier patron, and totally nope out on the aesthetic of the dark temple in Bazzoxan.
Jess leads Cate and Matt on a Wildmother gloom chase. There's a lot of dream chatter, we speculate on why the Barbed Fields are the way they are, talk about the possibilities of Fjord switching teams, and end with naming Yasha's new band.

Dustin, Cate, and Matt play house with the Might Nien covering episode 62. We talk about the home renovations they make to become the weird neighbors, speculate on the consequences of the note to Astrid, the dilemma that is Dairon, and who is scrying on whom? As tension builds up, which side will they choose when push comes to shove?!?
Ben, Matt, and Cate trudge through the dungeon to cover episode 60 of Critical Role. Chasme and demon squishies are bad. Always have stats for you spells. If you find a disc, break a disc. Donuts are essential. WHAT'S WITH THE BLUE WOOL?? Yasha sees dead people.
Ben, Jess, and Dustin chat about how The Mighty Nein learns to correctly talk to giants, what could possibly be causing the rift, how clutch Caduceus is, and the overarching storyline for this campaign.

Ben leads Matt and Jess in their discussion over episode 55 of Critical Role. This one was a combat heavy episode so we shift focus to what was going on inside the player characters' heads; including, but not limited to, sexy demon voices. We also ruminate on all of the baggage these characters will have to unpack in the next session, and where everything up to now fits with the overall story. What a charming episode.

And what's waiting in the City of Beasts?
