Holistic self care episode
I was hoping this episode would talk more about self care using alternative tools. I’m a student with allergies to scented products/fragrance, especially lavender and vanilla. I wish professionals would stop using scents in their offices.
Great Content on Show
Laura is a fantastic host offering great content on relevant mental health topics that is suitable for a lay audiences but professionals would get a lot out of it as well!
Highly recommend for therapists
I have been enjoying "Therapy Chat" and have grown as a psychotherapist upon hearing a variety of approaches. It has specifically inspired me to learn about expressive modalities, IFS, and AEDP and I'm very thankful to have heard about these approaches at various points in the podcast.
I’m new on here & I love all the concepts you provide on here! I can’t stop playing these podcasts. Your information is appreciated.
An insightful and well-informed podcast. Such a wonderful tool for therapists

I’m a new listener, and truly appreciate the rich content you’re providing on this podcast.
Clinically Informative, but easy to digest Podcast!
I have been a fan of Therapy Chat for several years (I think since it began - time flies!). During this time, I have been introduced to so many fantastic clinicians; it's hard to pick a favorite! I have dramatically increased my therapeutic knowledge by listening the Therapy Chat, and reading the books of the many professionals Laura has featured. Laura does a wonderful job of facilitating the conversations. She is down-to-earth, and so calm and relaxed - it seems like I am listening to a good friend. I have recommened this podcast to all my clinician friends, and even to a few clients. Keep up the great work Laura. You mentioned initiating some new trainings, and I say go for it! Best Wishes in 2019!
Mom w no time to write

broke & thankful
I’ve only listened to a few and I feel so hopeful for my mental health! I can’t afford actual sessions right now, and I know that this isn’t the same thing, BUT I feel less lonely and much more hopeful. Thank you Therapy chat!!

Relevant, important and well done!
Therapy Chat is one of those podcasts that I have listened to every single episode sometimes even went back and re- listened to some. Laura is knowledgeable, passionate about trauma and her work. She is dedicated to making a difference. She is helpful and always provides many resources. Love the variety of topics and the great line up of guests. Love her calming voice. It’s very peaceful. Keep doing the good work!

Didn't find beneficial
Anna Jane Micaela
This is aimed more for raising awareness of mental health problems and promotion of therapy than actually exploring strategies and skills taught in therapy.
It's not for someone who is trying to improve themselves and trying to supplement their therapy.
Eldred’s Clinical Services
I love this podcast! It’s so informative and I learn something every time. I use this information in my own practice.
Could be the best
This podcast could be the absolute best of it’s category if the sound quality was just a little better. The interview audio always sound like a phone call or Skype conversation over bad speakers and it just takes me out of the awesome topics and conversations that are happening.
Clinical teaching that is inspiring and educational!
I just recently started listening to this and began a binge listen while putting together a desk....this is a podcast that any helping professional could benefit from. I look forward to listening, learning, sharing and being inspired by this podcast to grow as a therapist, friend and just human!

Mom & Mind
This is such a valuable podcast, great information and perspective on how to be human and feel content with life as it happens. I'll be listening!
This is one of my favorite podcasts. As a psychologist in a private practice, sometimes I feel disconnected with other mental health professionals and this podcast has broadened my perspective of how other professionals use various interventions in their practices.

The Epidemic of Childhood Trauma Episode Rocked!
This is a great podcast in general. As a professional in the field, though, I particularly liked episode 19 about the epidemic of childhood trauma. Very informative and well put argument about this epidemic and how it effects individuals.
