The recent invasion and attacks on Israeli citizens by Hamas remind us of the necessity for strong, secure and protected borders. Is there anything more fundamental to a nation's sovereignty than its government defending itself from unauthorized crossings of its borders?
And why is a California city being sued by the governor and attorney general for letting its citizens decide if identification should be required in order to vote in that city?
