Today’s guest is Mort Mather, who went from being a theatrical stage manager and playwright to subsistence farmer and restauranteur. In 2004, together with his son Josh and wife Barbara, he opened Joshua’s Restaurant & Bar in Wells, Maine, serving farm-to-table fare inspired by seasonal fruits and vegetables grown in their own farm.
