What is it like to grow up watching your musical heroes perform on Glastonbury Main Stage then one day find yourself walking out to perform on that stage?
That happened to Tom Marsh. Growing up in the West Counties in the UK, he turned up at Glastonbury year after year. But after a decade’s long journey that took him from Jerusalem to Dublin and countless bar shifts, bands, tours and gigs in between, he found himself on a Saturday afternoon walking onto the main stage at Glastonbury as live drummer for Lana Del Rey.
His journey is one of persistence, graft and faith.
Tom and Niall get into:
:: what it felt like living the dream of playing Glastonbury main stage;
:: never giving up and making your own luck;
:: Re-discovering the joy of playing in front of people.
