Courage to take a stand

This podcast is extracted from the radio feature Motivation Minute on Music Radio 97 in Trinidad and Tobago. Written, produced and presented by Garfield King (that’s me), the programme aired every weekday for 28 years - 1992 to 2020. The content served as a reminder of what most of us know or feel deep in our bones.&nbsp;The podcast was relaunched in early 2026 after a period of reflection. Having spent over four decades in radio and media across the Caribbean, an evolving perspective on life and family has deepened my approach to storytelling. Hundreds of people are still downloading the podcast. So, returning to the communication stream was inevitable.&nbsp;Moving forward, the show will continue to focus on ways to be real with ourselves and with each other. It’s not so far from you really.
