Show notes

Throughout the 1980s, the Big East Tournament was dominated by three schools, St. John's, Georgetown and Syracuse. The three powerhouse programs had won every Big East Tournament since the conference's founding until suddenly an upstart UConn program crashed the party in 1990.

Chris Smith, UConn's all-time leading scorer and a member of the 1990 Dream Season team, joins the show today to look back on UConn's epic win over Syracuse in the 1990 Big East Tournament final. We also touch on his recruitment, his professional career after UConn and what he's been up to lately.
