In 2012, Reed Goossens quit his job in Australia and moved half way across the globe to the US to change his life, and to chase a dream. With limited funds, no investing experience, and no credit, Reed went from purchasing a small duplex to growing his own real estate investing firm. Today, Wildhorn Capital has over 2,000 units under management totaling over $250M. 

In our interview we touch on how Reed managed to get his start and reach current scale in such a short period of time, how he has been able to use his outsider’s perspective as a competitive advantage, and potential opportunities that he paying attention to in today’s environment, such as hotel reconversions into multifamily space.
