The East River Mountain Tunnel provides safe passage under the mountain from Mercer County, West Virginia into Virginia and has done so for the past 50 years. Senator Swope, who worked on the tunnel, reminisces with Ryland Musick, P.E., WVDOH District 10 Engineer whose father worked on the tunnel, on this week's WV on the DOT podcast.
