We were curious about New Years’ Eve celebrations in Uganda through the years. We looked through media archives and spoke to a number of people – a huge shout out to Kalungi Kabuye who was very generous with helping us.

Wulira! is a labour of love by a group of women to create a media product we wished we had access to when we were younger. There will be a lot of history, politics and incredible hope for Uganda.
