WrestleFania : It's A Wrestling Podcast!!

I admit it – I forgot to record an episode for this yesterday BUT, I think I’m better for it. I like reacting to a show that just happened instead of talking about a show a day or 2 before it happens. I hope you like it. I’ll be live tweeting NXT tomorrow night at @WrestleWatcher, but I admit during the show I accidentally told you to follow me at @WrestleBrand. This is what rock bottom feels like.

Tomorrow night is WWE's Backlash live from Puerto Rico! And even though I haven't been watching the shows because of reasons discussed in this episode (one of which is why I won't be watching Smackdown tonight) - it wasn't going to stop me from talking about it. I'll be live tweeting at @WrestleWatcher, and if you're into making bad choices you can also follow @WrestleBrand. Maybe he'll be watching as well if he's not too busy spending time with his selfish children...

It's WrestleMania weekend! No Brandon. No Live Episode. And just me talking in my car on the way to get some breakfast. So yeah, the podcast has come to this.... I'll be live tweeting all weekend at @WrestleWatcher, and maybe - we'll hear from @WrestleBrand, if he's not to busy unpacking. We get it, Brandon, you're a homeowner now. You don't have to rub it in, prick. Anyway enjoy the show!

I am excited about this year's Elimination Chamber, no matter the outcome of the main event. I am just really looking forward to the Montreal crowd (which is tough to say as a lifelong Bruins fan) and how they're going to welcome their hometown boy, Sami Zayn. However it ends, it should make for a memorable night and I'll be here watching and live-tweeting. Oh and my me I mean @WrestleWatcher, and not the guy who used to be on this show - @WrestleBrand, but is probably too busy trying to score Yellowcard tickets. Yeah, neither to do I. GO SAMI!

Happy 2023 wrestling fans! The Royal Rumble is here and I'm ready to talk a little bit about that match as well as the other matches set for tomorrow night. Forgive me if my voice sounds scratchy - I had a camera stuck down my throat today. I talk about it more on the episode, since I have all this free time to fill up because my co-host hates all of you. Happy Thanksgiving Wrestling Nerds! I know, I know - the actual celebration was yesterday, but since I'm still eating turkey, I can legally still say it. I survived the drive to Florida with my mother-in-law! But how do I top that? Well, really I can't. I get to watch Crown Jewel from the comfort of my couch - but only AFTER I go to a nice craft fair with my wife and our niece. See, I can do normal human things too. I don't just sit around watching WWE....I mean, I do that too - but it's not the only thing I do. I think the title speaks for itself. Yup, tomorrow I’ll be on the road to Florida, stopping in Virginia for the night – but I have my tablet and there better be WiFi because when she falls asleep at 8pm (and she will) I would be staring at the ceiling with big white cartoon eyes if I don’t get a change to watch this show. Guess what! I (yes me Mike) watched wrestling this week! I watched RAW on Monday (okay the hulu version on Tuesday), I watched Smackdown tonight - AND I even watched a little bit of AEW Dynamite. I am getting back into the groove of things - and looking forward to Summerslam tonight night! Also - holy crap Vince McMahon retired. I can't wait to hear from Brandon has to say as he did send some audio in for this episode. I guilted him into it - he didn't want to let Gary down... GO WRESTLING GO
