We begin a new sermon series this week called "The Wilderness". We will look at how God meets us in the difficult seasons of our lives. Hagar, Moses, David, the people of Israel, John, and Jesus each spent time in the wilderness. Their experiences and encounters with God in the wilderness teach us how to trust God when life gets hard. We serve a God who sees us, hears our cries for help, and provides for our needs in the wildernesses of life.

In week one we look at the story of Hagar in Genesis 16 and how God demonstrated his love, care, and presence in her wilderness place.
