Naude has been involved with environment projects his whole life and Katja is a political scientist who knows the workings of non-governmental organizations and their importance in a functioning society. They are both part of Ocean Conservation Namibia an organization that promotes environmental awareness and aims to rescue as many seals from undeserving situations.
