Episode 1 of the HERd Podcast with Beth Robinette.
Beth Robinette, a fourth generation cattle rancher and all around badass, has been a food activist for over a decade. When she is not connecting farmers to markets through LINC Foods – a food cooperative in Spokane, WA - she can be found building fence, chasing cows, or cuddling with lambs on her family’s ranch, the Lazy R, where they raise sheep and grass-fed beef. Beth is certified as a Holistic Management educator spreading the good word of regenerative agriculture far and wide and was the 2018 recipient of the Tilth Alliance “Farmer of the Year” award. She is deeply involved in many other initiatives related to regenerative agriculture, ranching and healthy food systems. I am thrilled to have her as our first guest. As you’ll hear, she is funny, passionate and so inspiring…making her the perfect person to kick off the HERd podcast.
