A long-debated topic rises once again as tabletop gaming surges forward, thanks to the wide success of recorded (and very well edited) Actual Play games as well as tabletop's inclusion in popular media: Given the difficulty in preparation and execution of a game for 4-6 people, should GM's be paid by their players?

What do you think?

Vampire: The Masquerade - Season 2, Episode 15: Controlling the Narrative

A "Gaming in General" table top actual play podcast. Currently playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition (Maybe 2024 version, maybe not?).

Sit with a bunch of 30-to-50-somethings who play characters completely unsuited to the lives of adventurers, shadowrunners, investigators, etc. and getting thrown in the deep end.

Y'know - without a net.
