When it comes to long term water supply, Kansas reservoirs are at the biggest suppliers of the state. In order to prevent things such as floods and water contamination, the state of Kansas and the US Army Corp of Engineers works together to solve the issue of sediment buildup within Tuttle Creek reservoir.
