Gregory Wrightstone, geologist, author, and executive director of the CO2 Coalition, challenges the prevailing narrative that rising carbon dioxide and a warming planet spell disaster. Drawing on geology, climate history, and agricultural data, Gregory makes the case that modest warming and increased CO2 are benefiting both humanity and the natural world.

He explains how longer growing seasons and higher CO2 levels can increase agricultural productivity and help plants withstand drought, and takes us back through history to explore the connection between warm periods, abundant food, and flourishing civilizations. He also weighs in on sea-level rise, retreating glaciers, polar bears and species extinction, and the environmental costs of wind and solar energy.
