Emine ERDEM is the President of KAGIDER where she has been a Board Member since 2013. A lawyer by profession, she served as a Chamber Counsel for Turkish Airlines between 1990-2017. Erdem is a Board Member of Erdem Holding since 1985. Formerly, Mrs. Erdem served various roles at international and local NGOs. She is of the founders of UNESCO-Istanbul Center for Global Ethics and Sustainable Development and a member of the Advisory Board of Association of Women Candidates. Mrs. Erdem speaks French and English.

Emine will speak on why women in economy is a prerequisite for sustainable economic growth, and about how public and private institutions should take women’s condition into account and pay regard to their needs to be inclusive in economic policies.
