Antonia Belcher has a wide experience in the inspection and appraisal of many building types, ranging from large volume/high rise office buildings and mansion block residential apartment buildings to historic buildings, industrial property, school buildings, etc.

Antonia will speak about her Journey to be her authentic self. She is a transwoman working in the Construction and Property Sectors, and a founding Partner of her firm, MHBC, which is based adjacent St Paul’s Cathedral. She transitioned in a very male dominated working environment during 2000 to 2003, where there was no history or visible LGBT influences to draw on. She has been fortunate in her journey, remaining married to her partner, with whom she celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary this year, having converted their marriage to a same sex marriage in 2015, and sharing her authentic daily life with her three adult children, her partner, Andrea and their grandson. At work her journey has been no less rewarding, since she created MHBC in 2007 with colleagues who worked with her before she transitioned, and who have been the ultimate Allies.
