There can be precious very few global conversations about women empowerment which does not feature WinTrade Global Talk’s next guest at the epicentre of the conversation. Lynne Franks OBE is an extraordinary woman for the exceptional times we find ourselves in.

Following a highly successful career in PR which included the creation of London Fashion Week and the British Fashion Awards, Lynne Franks has become a champion for women’s empowerment, sustainable business practices and social justice issues.

A proud grandmother of seven, she was awarded an OBE in 2018 for her work with the empowerment of women. Her fabulous accomplishments are too numerous to mention here. Key highlights of her remarkable contribution to society are; chairing Viva, the UK’s first women’s radio station. Speaking and reporting from the United Nations seminal women’s conference in Beijing. Lynne also founded the SEED – Sustainable Enterprise for Empowerment Dynamics, a movement and community for women’s learning and leading programmes, while living in California. SEED women’s empowerment programmes have affected change in post-war zones, rural African villages, women’s prisons and the corporate board room.

Now based in Somerset, Lynne has opened the SEED Hub where her retreats, eco-bedrooms and vegan café offer a respite for busy women and men who visit this centre for healing and wellbeing. She is launching her on-line women’s empowerment, leadership and enterprise platform, www.theseedhub.club
