Bound by GuiltNone of us are completely free from the pangs of guilt. There are still issues that haunt us and revisit us about things we have done. At times, we are revisited by the shame of words misspoke or deeds done. Wounds of regret get reopened over events that we were part of or actions that were taken. Issues of shame resurface from memories of wrongs we have done. Feelings of guilt rise from the responsibility that we experience for things we have done.How do we define guilt?Guilt is the fact or state of having committed an offense, violation or wrong against some moral code. It is the feeling of responsibility or remorse over some offense or wrong.
