“Wellness begins with acknowledging and honouring the parts of ourselves that are human.” — Theresa Lambert
This episode tackles how business and success connect with wellness. It is common for people to think that in order to be successful, we have to grind and hustle and force our way to get there.
However, that becomes exhausting when we constantly overachieve, overcommit or overwork ourselves. It is a different kind of quality outcome when success came from certain enthusiasm instead of pressure and force.
Start with creating awareness and recognition within yourself by asking yourself questions and answering them truthfully.
Admit when you are feeling uncomfortable with things. Once that is settled, we can move from awareness to intention n or when something can be a responsibility or put into action. From that place, we can reverse engineer our goals. Set a vision that is different from your goal based on a feeling, in that way, you’ll have access to it every day.
Create awareness, start an intention and enjoy the process. Forget the timeline and drop the pressure. Success comes in different times and forms for different people.
“I have found to be most powerful is to actually create a vision of your life based on how you desire to feel rather than what you desire to achieve.” — Theresa Lambert
Wellness Nuggets:
● When we acknowledge ourselves, we're really able to create things that leave a much more long-lasting impact and what building success from a sustainable place.
● Ask yourself the following questions:
- Who are you doing it all for and why?
- What is it that I actually want? (If you want to feel accomplished, empowered, energized)
- What could I do today that would help me feel accomplished and empowered or energized?
- Could you prove to the court of law that you cannot take a break?
- How can I make it more enjoyable?
● Questioning our thoughts successfully in our minds is an accomplishment
● Perfectionism is just another label that we put out on ourselves so that we have a reason to struggle
● People remember how you make them feel, not what you say
We invite you to ignite the Wellness Warrior in YOU!
