Michael Mainelli is the executive chairman of ZYen group. A qualified accountant, a securities professional, a computer specialist and a management consultant. Educated at Harvard Universisty and Trinity College, Dublin and gained his PhD at the London School of Economics, where he was also a visiting professor of innovation and IT. His career spans aerospace and cartography science, accountancy firm partner and director of Ministry of Defence research.
