In 2004, Casie's younger sister Kellie passed away unexpectedly at age 18 from unknown causes. Casie knew she had to turn heartbreak into positivity and decided to #LiveOutLoud. In 2011, she has become a dedicated advocate for children’s cancer research through the St. Baldrick's Foundation where she’s since been a lead photographer, Team Captain, and 3-Time Shavee.

Team Live Out Loud has raised $100,000 for the cause, with Casie raising over $55k+ to show others that #BaldIsBeautiful." "•
