Vilhelm grew up in Sweeden with a racket in his hands from a young age. Knowing that tennis would be part of his life for a long time, he set his sights on playing in America for college. Attending the University of Buffalo, he played Division 1 tennis for the men's varsity team while studying communications. It was during his junior year that he and his cousin, Carl Fridell, started Yibber. The decision to test the idea came after wanting to create a social media channel that allowed people to use their voices literally to engage and connect with others. Two years on, the company has grown to 13 employees and they've received multiple investments.
