Cindy and Adam discuss the unrealistic beauty standards that are portrayed on various social media platforms and how they are influencing young adults (mainly young women) to look a way that is unattainable and often times harmful. 

They touch on how this phenomenon isn't necessarily new, but the dawn of social media platforms such as Instagram have made it a more egregious issue to tame. They also discuss how to approach it as parents in order to instill a sense of confidence in young children that is independent of how they look. 

They then shift gears to how such beauty standards may not be applicable to young males, as they are instead influenced by ideologies that may become harmful if the message is being sent by the wrong people.
