Hi, this episode is me, Chris, going solo to give a very personal update about my new and unexpected journey into my health crisis. I let my hair down and opened up to tell my story that is still unfolding. 
I want you all to know that I am fighting everyday for my life and diligently following my team of doctors instructions and taking the crazy number of medications to help my body heal.  
I will recover, I will see you all on the trails again, I will see you at races and other events.  But for now I need to stay relatively isolated to avoid any possibility of infection while my immune system is compromised.
Please, if you notice something unusual going on with your body, don’t ignore it or put it off. Go see your doctor and try to get regular blood work done.  A regular visit to my doctor in July literally saved my life.
I have Aplastic Anemia and I will recover!
