How do we continue our forward journey when people in power don't just hate what you do but who you are as well? Step deeper into you and away from needing their permission, opinion or support, live a life indigenous : )

"Flying your flag"

Living "a life Indigenous" is really a look at my experience of being labelled as a great many things, from School teachers, Doctors, Nun's, Priests, social workers to being told I am too Brown to be White and too White to be Brown. Managing the expectations of the colonised mind, trying hard to be something I wasn't and finally landing on the idea that "I am that I am!" Māori, Samoan, Cook Island and sooo much more, what is it that brings the children of the four winds together in history and tradition? This is MY life indigenous!
