Jackie Luo is a software engineer at Nylas, a startup that is working on building the future of email. She is also currently taking some time off from her studies at Columbia and is going back to finish her degree in the spring. In this episode, we discuss what working at a very small startup is like, how she got into programming after starting in her second year of college, what it's like to take time of from, and much more.

What should I do with my life? That's a hard question. This podcast is trying to make it easier to figure out the answer to that question by sharing the stories of people from many different careers. We explore the questions of how they eventually decided to pursue the career that they did, what they would have done differently in college, and any advice that they might have for those who are still trying to figure out what to do.
