My guest, Rachel Weinstock, was the target of severe bullying as a child, which has significantly influenced the work she does now with pre-teens and teens. Rachel’s mission involves creating safe spaces for kids to be fully seen, accepted and supported. As she continues to recover from her own childhood trauma, Rachel is keenly aware of the value of building connections and trust with young people by modeling vulnerability, compassion and kindness. Rachel reminds us to recognize and foster the wisdom, courage and authenticity that kids naturally possess and embrace the great responsibility we have, as adults, as guides in their lives.
