In this episode, I speak with Gilbert, an educational consultant. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do after he graduated and his parents encouraged him to try living in another country. He taught English in China for two years until the pandemic hit. After realizing how many of his students wanted to go to college in the United States, but didn't really know what they were looking for beyond the ranking of the school, Gilbert dove into helping high school students apply to college as an educational consultant.
