Andrea is from Trenton, New Jersey. Upon graduating from college, she worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician in Blood Bank (Immunohematology) for 15-years. A job opportunity re-located her to New York, where she works fulltime as a Product Manager for Intraoral Imaging for 20-years at an innovative company for dental professionals in New York City. Andrea is a world traveler (been to 6-continents) and loves meeting new people. She considers her relationship with God, her greatest accomplishment in life. She demonstrates commitment in all that she does. She is single at the moment, and currently lives in Long Island, New York.
She is the Founder of F.O.C.U.S. Ministries (Fellowship Of Christians Unique and Single) and an International Motivational Speaker. Her passion for Singles Ministry was brought about through circumstance. Through divorce she began to see the need for this life changing ministry. She has been actively involved with single adult ministry since 2001; this is the 20th year of this life changing ministry, we have touched the lives of over 7,000+ single adults throughout North America and abroad. She is a very organized event planner, has good leadership skills, and is multi-faceted. A member of Toastmasters International, served as the Secretary/Production Coordinator for AUAM (Atlantic Union Adventist Media), was recently Interviewed by Shelly Quinn on “3ABN Today”, completed several segments on “Adventist News Network”, wrote an article in “Adventist World-NAD Edition”, wrote a testimony for the “General Conference 2019 Edition of the Women’s Daily Devotional”, Personal Manager of the gospel recording group “The Holmes Sisters, in the Movie “Single Creek”, in the Hope Channel Documentary “Divorce - Intersection: Your Faith, Your World”, an Event Coordinator, and is very active in her home church, Mount Sinai Seventh-day Adventist Church in Queens, New York, when she is in town.
She is currently the AUC (Atlantic Union Conference) Volunteer Assistant for Single Adult Ministries, certified in the 10- module curriculum for the NAD (North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist) ASAM (Adventist Single Adult Ministries), a member of the AAFLP (Adventist Association of Family Life Professionals). Andrea served as the NAD ASAM Coordinator and a member of the NAD ASAM Advisory Committee, from 2007 - 2012. In 2007, she served as the Assistant to the Director of Singles Ministry for the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. In 2007, the NAD Family Ministries Department, gave her an award for “Planning the first NAD ASAM Convention in North America”. In 2012, the NAD Family Ministries Department, gave her “The Distinguish Service Award” for her contribution to ASAM in North America. Andrea has been the Keynote Speaker at several venues from Singles Conventions, Youth Conventions and Women’s Ministries Conventions, throughout the United States and in many countries abroad including, Europe, Canada, Bahamas, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, Trinidad and most recently Bermuda.
F.O.C.U.S. Ministries came into existence in 2001 at the Mount Sinai Seventh-day Adventist Church in Queens Village, New York. Before Vidal R. Forde got married, he ably assisted her. We are a resource for all your single adults needs. We teach our out-of-the-box ASAM tools to Christian single adults throughout the United States and abroad.
