In this week’s episode of Western Teacher Live we’re talking about the, one million and one, benefits of being an SSTUWA member!

Hear from SSTUWA communications facilitator, Sarah Maraglio, about all the wonderful member benefits available to our members.

We’ve got a whole range of discounts and special offers for members, and they’re all exclusive within the public education industry.

We'd like to highlight a handful of the discounts that members have access to including: Accor Hotels, Experience Oz, The Good Guys Commercial website, Fleet Network, Allwest Fleet and Easi Fleet as well as discounts at Teacher Superstore and Jacksons.

There are also movie tickets; access to Campbells; discounted computers through PLE, Apple and Dell; rental cars through Europcar; mortgage brokers; discounted first aid courses with St Johns as well as access to Teachers Health insurance which is high quality hospital and extras cover.

We’ve got a few signature benefits including reps, organisers, Member Assist, Journey Cover, legal services and of course our training centre and more!

Our fantastic Member Assist team answer thousands of calls and emails from members each month.

Legal advice is available to our members, with support for both work-related and personal matters.

We have a fantastic Education and Training Centre that delivers top notch professional development, union specific training, conferences and other events.

Plus, our new SSTUWA polo shirts are now for sale in the online shop. They feature the stunning design of a local artist and former WA public school student, Tyrown Waigana.
