Charleston, WV beer fans have now had a full six months to assess Short Story Brewing’s Charleston taproom. Everything we see says it’s off to a very strong start.

We thought it was time to talk with Jamie Ferrell, who is the taproom’s bar manager, to get his take on the business’s success.

Jamie is also a guy who works hard to keep up with the latest beers, breweries, and trends here in our Appalachian region, not only in West Virginia but also those around Asheville, NC. While he’s a man young in years, his beer knowledge is broad.
