Dianne O’Connor has been an educator for over 30 years at The Roeper School in MI and in recent years a tutor and educator at Brilliant Detroit as well. She has been an advocate for educating the whole child, and in particular the social and emotional aspects of children, not just the academic. As suicide, depression and anxiety are on the rise, we explore how social and emotional support may be one of the primary ways to bolster our children’s well-being.
