My name is Deborah, and I'm a first-generation Haitian American who decided to leave the US several times in my adult life. Currently, I live in Quito, Ecuador, where I've been for the past nine years. I'd like to share more about the journey with you and invite others who have taken the leap to move away from the familiar - mainly in the form of immigration or expatriation.
