In a recent video, Beau visited Jason’s facility to show the process of getting certified to D1.1 using Dual Shield Flux core and in the podcast Jason elaborates on the process of getting certified and making sure you are getting the right one. He emphasizes that welding certifications are specific to processes, positions, materials, and thicknesses and that a basic welding certification is not a requirement for all welding jobs.
