Come take a seat at the weird kids lunch table with Britany, Lilithe, and Ambyr as we discuss the April 2023 tiktok scandal “Cakegate”. In a small town in West Virginia, what should have been a private apology to a customer done wrong turned into a huge PR nightmare when a baker turned to tiktok to “roast” a customer who was 100% in the right. This topic is close to Ambyr’s heart since they were a pastry chef and a cake decorator before, so many of the details about this drama were revealed to them in real time by Britany and Lilithe, including some live reactions to some of the other cakes this baker made.
