After being part of the Webcor family by virtue of her father, Dave Boyd, being a co-founder, Kerry joined the company initially as a receptionist. When she returned to take on the marketing role, she was fully qualified, having earned a degree in marketing from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Before assuming that role at Webcor in 1994, she was Marketing Coordinator at SummerHill Homes, then spent two years in the corporate real estate and facilities department at Visa. In this conversation with current Webcor Marketing VP Tom Soohoo, Kerry recalls growing up with Webcor and shares her experiences bringing modern marketing to the company.
