š„ Jacent Wamala is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Las Vegas. She has a private practice that focuses on working with black women on anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery. Sheās the onsite mental health professional for a local charter school and teaches courses at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in areas such as personal growth and development, multicultural issues in families, and contemporary couples and families. Jacent recently launched another arm to the wellness practice addressing Mental Health and Money. In three years, she paid off over $90,000 in credit card and student loan debt and saw the link between financial stress and mental health issues for her clients. Her goal is to help individuals and families become aware of the limiting beliefs and fears getting in the way of their financial freedom and empower them to create a plan to reach their goals. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
