Dear WLS
Dusty Bob - Hey guys. I was at a gun show and saw a bunch of revolvers in 350 legend. I get they are catering to the straight wall or pistol hunting regulations but why not revive the 357 max cartridge. With the 357 max you can still shoot 38 or 357 or 357 max. Also I took Jeremy’s advice and watched the used market on suppressors. Picked up a sandman Ti that was a demo for half price. Love the show and been listening for about 6 years. Keep it up
Greg V - If you could have any gun/s from history which one would it be? I would want the colt 1911 and colt Detective Special .38 that Bonnie and Clyde wore when they were killed.
Michael C - I enjoyed listening to DT -375 on a long road trip. I hoped to provide further clarification on the topic of "Axe versus Hatchet"Uncle Joe had a friend Bob Bird, Bob had a lot of skills and knowledge about things like ropes, knots, bone fires and building crosses. Bob explained the difference between a hatchet and axe like this- A hatchet is a noun, Axe is a verb.Examples-This is my hatchet. (Hatchet it the noun) Let me Axe you something. (Axe is the verb) Another example can be found in the early English Bible translation, Coverdale Bible; "Axe and it shall be given."Hope this provides some more insight into tool terminology.Signed,Tm "no-balz" Walz
Jack - Recently in the discord we were talking about adding an M203 grenade launcher to our rifles. While it looks cool, If I mount a gun to my gun, I want it to be a gun I can shoot. So I started thinking about my options. Someone posted the below image of a kel tec R50 mounted under an AR (I also included a link in case the image doesn't come through). This setup has some problems, but I like it. Among those problems are charging and reloading the R50. But at least you have 50 rounds before you have to deal with that shit. I already have a P50, so my first question is, if I mount a P50 pistol under an AR, does it become a rifle, and because of the barrel length an SBR? Second question, what if the rile is a shorty doc that's already an SBR? Would that tax stamp cover this new accessory, or would I need another tax stamp? I intend to run suppressors on both barrels, so would that be a 4 stamp gun or just 3? Third, what if I used a regular pistol and mounted it as a forward grip? Same questions as before, would that make it an SBR and if so, would the SBR stamp on the shorty doc cover it? Fourth, How can I use a pistol as a foregrip? Most semi autos have reciprocating slides, so they won't work very well bolted to a gun. The only thing I can think of that would work is a revolver. Do you have any other ideas? https://i.imgur.com/ElXmgrO.jpeg
Mios Dios - Is the compact pistol dead? Has the micro compact gun such as the Sig 365, Hellcat, Shield all but taken the Glock 19 size gun down? Yes they are certainly slimmer and in certain cases smaller in other dimensions but what are we sacrificing in the chase for diminutive size? Shootability? Yes, many say they can shoot their pocket rocket just as accurately as their full size gun but is this just them proselytizing to bring them over to the dark side? Capacity? Doesn't seem like it with the stack and a half mags and aftermarket components like shield arms mags. So where does the "compact"" gun fit into the zeitgeist? Is the Glock 19, M&P 2.0,
