Welcome to Double Tap, episode 373! Your hosts tonight are Jeremy Pozderac, Aaron Krieger, Nick Lynch, and me Shawn Herrin, welcome to the show!

Dear WLS

Scott G – More of a comment than a question I have been listening to the cast talk about the SBRIng 308s I have two aero SBR s A 10.5 and a 12 both in 308, both of them are fun I’m keeping my 10.5 because range nazis hate it. My 12 I am going to turn into aa 6. (Alprzolam) 5 creed I m thinking even at 11 – 14 inches a 6.5 creed would out velocity a 16-20 inch 308 it would be fun to play at my local club level PRS matches with a SBR just to see where it stacks up with the 308 crowd . Just a different idea to kick around. ( I’ll probably have to get a 6.5 barrel chopped and threaded but that’s not hard to have done. )

Aero Precision barrels are reliable and well-regarded.

Jacob H – Sup fraggots,I’ve got an AR, I need a sighting solution for it. It’s 16″, 223, but I have a 22 conversion bolt that will probably get used pretty often as well. I’ve got about 4 acres I’m planning to defend from coyotes, mostly…… so probably not shooting past like 200 yards ever? I do currently have a set of offset irons for it. Should I consider an lpvo? Should I just get a lower fixed power of some sort? A fixed 2 or 4 maybe? Or perhaps a normal 4 -12 or whatever low end scopes come in. Budget will probably top out around 400, prefer something more like 200. Here, have some more free content for your show. Love you guys, yes, that kind of love.

Kevin H – Hi, My name is Kevin and I like guns. Do you like guns too? That’s cool if you guys do because that means that we have something in common and that also makes us practically friends. That makes me happy because I have no friends. Anyways since we are best friends now can I have a Gideon optics omega, please and thank you?! Love your new best friend Kevin.

Brassguy Jarhead – Episode 570 of WLS 58 min and 38 sec, why is Jeremy such a dumb cunt?

Joe J – I am getting into uspsa shooting and need a new pistol. I have been looking at the RIA 1911 tac ultra fs or the CZ 75. What is a good affordable option ($1,000 or under) and a good option above $1,000. No Glock, and I am not a big fan of Canic. I would like this to be a dual purpose pistol as well (security/combat) but understand that it might not be practical. Thanks in advance. Shawn, SD will welcome you if you are still wanting to move. Nick, hit me up, we live close. Ish.

Roger B – I have a CZ BEN2 ( 14”) and I run a k can on it but fuuuuuuuck me it’s gassy. Blows gas all up in my face especially when it get hot. Any suggestions on a can that will help with this issue that doesn’t break the bank?
