This conversation brings me back to a heartfelt and sad memory on the effects and devastation of incest.  The bibles says that there is nothing new under the sun. Things that happen in the bible days are as terrible now as they were then.  Incest is such a delicate topic that sadly gets swept under the rug and most times not ever talked about.  Silence offers no help to the victims or the perpetrators.  The Personal journey I witness in my friends life on experiencing incest from her biological father was and still is heart breaking.  I truly hope that if anyone out there has, is, or know someone that is a victim of this horrific cycle, or who is experiencing it right now in their life, will no longer be silent.  Incest is a family destroyer and being silent can be deadly.  Please speak up and possibly safe a life or an entire generation!
