South Africa has the highest rate of femicide in the world. Karabo Mokoena, Rachel Tshabalala, Reeva Steenkamp, Uyinene Mrwetyana and so many more women have fallen victim to fatal patterns of male behaviour. In this episode, Ayanda and Dambudzo explore and try to unravel the conundrum of trust and entering intimate relationships while remaining realistic and vigilant about the perils of trusting and being vulnerable, and they offer proposals on how we can begin to embrace a different way of being in the world.
