Vietnam Television (VTV) is a government agency, a state broadcaster which main duties are: informing and disseminating the Communist Party’s orientations and guidelines, and the state policies and legislation; contributing to educate the people and raising their intellectual level, enriching the people’s spiritual life with television programs and other journalistic mediums and multi-media communication platforms.

Vietnam Television operations are chartered by the government decree No. 02/2018/NĐ-CP issued on April 1, 2018 defining the functions, duties, authorities and organizational struct
