In this VladTV interview, Rex Holloway recounts his journey from a gifted kid in East Texas near Houston to juvenile detention, armed robberies, and a 10-year Texas prison sentence at 17. Holloway details the harsh realities of TDCJ life, the Texas Youth Commission, Huntsville intake, Ferguson Unit, solitary confinement, prison politics, and how he rose within the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (ABT) before walking away after five years. He breaks down the difference between the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas and California’s AB, the impact of the Ruiz lawsuit, conflicts involving Aryan Circle, Texas Syndicate, and Mexican Mafia politics, and the mental toll of years in administrative segregation. Holloway also discusses reading about John Gotti and Sammy “The Bull” Gravano, rebuilding his life after release, staying free for 21 years, and finding success, marriage, and perspective beyond prison.
