What can be said about Bob Bert that hasn't already been said? The dude is legendary! So I jumped at the opportunity to speak with him, being an artist and musician who, by design or not, has gone on to influence a wide group of people himself. So to be able to pick his mind, even a little, about the perspective of influence of music on a creative person and ultimately discussing an album that was incredibly important to his own development was thrilling. And I think I got some new insights into The New York Dolls album as well as Bob's own process, particularly on his upcoming debut solo release, Beach Bongo Bloodbath, being released by Bar None Records 06/12/26.
