Lessons I learned today through an unfortunate family situation:
1 - There is always a gap between what someone does or says and how you respond. Be self aware enough to know when you need to take advantage of that gap so you don’t do or say shit you can’t take back.
2 - Your feelings are your own responsibility. Making others feel comfortable at the expense of your own wellbeing is not your burden to bear.
3 - Just because something isn’t your fault, doesn’t mean it’s not your responsibility.
