Today we travel across the pond to talk to England's own, Gary Powell. Gary is a LGB activist, public administration campaigner, and an original signer of the Stop Surrogacy Now statement. Gary was tutored in Philosophy by the Rt Hon Baroness Mary Warnock, a specialist in reproductive ethics whose inquiry led to the UK Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990. Join us as we find out why, as a gay man, Gary opposes surrogacy.

Podcast #004 - Kallie Fell

Venus Rising builds on the work of the Center for Bioethics and Culture in the space of fertility, infertility, high-tech baby making and women's reproductive health. We sit down and chat with experts, authors, medical professionals, egg and sperm donors, as well as surrogates, and of course, women themselves, with their personal and often heart wrenching stories. Our guests include a wide-range of voices, even those we often have major disagreements with in the spirit of public conversation, robust discussion, education, and always, trying to challenge us all to think beyond the masses.
